Our ProductsControl
Master's flagship software product is the CMX™ Process
Control System. The CMX™ Process
Control System is a fully-integrated Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)
package that features best-of-breed Distributed Control System (DCS) capabilities.
CMX™ rivals its competitors by providing all the
functionality one expects of a DCS with all the added advantages
that come with its ability to utilize non-proprietary hardware. The
CMX™ Process Control System consists of the following core modules:
- A base real-time kernel with built-in preemptive
multi-tasking, multi-user and networking interfaces
services.
- A data acquisition and continuous control module
containing a standard library of conversion algorithms and
the ability to create and integrate user-defined
algorithms
- A sequence and batch control module that is
compliant with the ANSI/ISA SP88 specification and complete
with its own Sequence Control Language for application
development
- A Thin Client based human machine interface (HMI) which provides the
operator interface and is complete with built-in standard
displays to view and control your process.
- A engineering interface toolkit which is designed
to meet all your application building, system configuration,
and database maintenance needs.
- A historian responsible for gathering, archiving, and
maintaining your real-time process variables and data.
- A communications I/O module based on our Universal
Instrument Interface technology providing the capability to
acquire data from virtually all process
instrumentation.
- A security and integrity subsystem which enforces,
validates, and records secure user access within the
above modules.
- A redundant Application Enterprise Server (EAS) Historian
that manages site-wide Control Servers Tag Database,
Continuous History, Alarms and Event History and system
backups.
Open, Interoperable, and Scaleable by Design
Control Master supports open
architectures in both our hardware and software
products. Our recommended hardware platform is Intel/PC based and
all our software products including
operating systems are certified for usage. Our client and server
software products are either Microsoft Windows™ based or
compatible. Our support of de facto open
networking standards such as TCP/IP and Thin-Client embedded system
technology is consistent with this open
architecture philosophy.
Our open systems are also designed with scalability in mind. At the
highest visible level, software client workstations and servers can
be readily expanded. At the lowest level, equipment
assets, process points, and tags can be seamlessly added to your
existing control system. This allows you to preserve your
original investment with Control Master while leveraging against the
latest technologies available to your organization.
Our Support
Control Master provides a series of excellent technical
support options which complement our existing products and
services. These range from on-line services such as user guides,
release notes and frequently-asked-questions to support
contracts tailored to meet your individual and site
