Alarm and Function Change (AFC) History

The AFC Report Writer

The AFC Report Writer is a powerful, yet easy to use utility for generating alarm and function change history reports.

Highly versatile and driven by pop-up menus and prompts, the AFC Report Writer presents the user the with all menu options they need to:

  • Fix the period of time the report covers by specifying start/end dates and times, or the last so many records or the last so many hours
  • Limit the type(s) of records to include in the report to; records associated with Units or Tags, alarm records, function change records, or messages
  • Report on only those records that match a Tag or Unit name, or only report Tags associated with a particular Unit
  • Only include those records that were logged by a given CMXä program
  • specify only those records logged by a Tag, Unit, Checkpoint, Console, or Time related function
  • To report by audible, console, sequence interrupt, or log only alarm priority
  • And, for systems that take advantage of CMXä multi-console capability, only records associated with a particular console or changes made from a particular console can be reported.
  • Output can be sorted by record type, Unit name, or Tag name and can be directed to a file or to the printer.
