The Message Display summarizes the latest System and Unit sequence messages. Sequence messages are shown in the top half and Unit messages in the bottom half of the screen.

A “Message” indicator flashes at the top of the screen when there is a new system or sequence message. Calling the Message Display stops the message indicator from flashing, but sequence and System messages must be acknowledged in order to clear them.

Sequence messages have to be acknowledged at the MSG Sub-display of the Unit that sent them. Unacknowledged sequence messages are also displayed in red.

Sequence messages contain the following fields:

• The Unit sending the message
• The date and time of the message
• The number of the sequence slot sending the message
• The message text sent by the sequence
