Plot displays are configurable standard full screen, X-Y line graphs that
track trends of Process Variable's for up to 64 tags. Each tag and its data
trend is shown in separate colors for greater clarity. Trend lines are updated
constantly, tracking to the right as data is added.
On a Plot Display we can put 1 plot with 8 Tags, 4
plots with 16 Tags, 9 plots with 36 Tags or 16 plots with 64 Tags. The number of
plots supported in each resolution is:
- 4 plots in VGA mode (640 x 480)
- 9 plots in SVGA mode (800 x 600)
- 16 plots in HVGA mode (1024 x 768)
The following features are supported:
- The main and the CMX Enterprise Console support.
- Each plot can have a separate time range of 10, 20 or 30 minutes in real-time.
- Time ranges of 60 minutes to eight (8) days are displayed from Continuous
History.
- Tag names and current PV values are displayed for each Tag
- The ability to pull up the Change Zone dialog as well as keyboard commands to
change parameters are supported by selecting the Tag name.
- The Engineering Unit range is also configurable, in order to be able to zoom
in or out of the operating range, by selecting the tag PV value.
- New EU ranges will become part of the permanent plot display.
