Report
Editor
Access to
the Report Editor is via the Reports
Display and is also restricted to those users with Engineer access or higher.
The Report Editor collects a set of Tags and options and saves the data in
an on-line report display.
The Report
Builder offers two report writer programs to choose from:
- One which reads data
from the continuous history database, includes actual Tag data points from
the selected history class, and generates statistics based upon those
points, or
- The other which
reads its data from a Unit History File and reports PV and statistics for
each Tag by selected balance periods or by time ranges.
Both
programs permit individually selecting the Tags that will be included in the
report, but the kind of Tag data included in the two types of reports differs.
Continuous
history users can request Tag PV data for up to 40 Tags per report from any one
continuous history class.
In
addition, the minimum and/or maximum value(s), the average, and the standard
deviation of Tag values can be included in a statistical summary at the end of
the report.
Unit
history users can request Tag data for up to 40 Tags per report from any one
Unit. Once the Unit is specified, the Tag list option will only display
Tags assigned to the selected Unit. Ranges can be specified either by date
and time, or by balance periods.
